Study Planner is an independent student-planning app. It is not Canvas, Instructure, or your school.
What we collect
- account email
- display name
- connected Canvas domain or calendar feed link that you choose to provide
- assignment and reminder data needed to run the planner
- reminder preferences and manual overrides
- device push token when push reminders are enabled
Why we collect it
- to sign you in securely
- to restore your planner on your device
- to sync assignments from the source you choose to connect
- to generate recommendations and reminders
- to respect your reminder settings and quiet hours
Canvas and third-party services
If you connect Canvas, Study Planner reads the data you choose to share through the connection path you enable. Official course records, grades, due dates, school policies, and teacher-side changes remain controlled by Canvas and your school.
Study Planner is not responsible for third-party outages, deleted feed links, school restrictions, or changes made outside the app. Students should verify important academic decisions in Canvas itself.
How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account remains active and while it is needed to operate the planner. If you delete your account, Study Planner removes the account and the app data tied to it from the backend flow used by the app, except where retention is required by law.
Your choices
Inside the app, you can:
- change your name
- change your email
- change your password
- adjust reminder settings
- delete your account
